For years, this blacklist included IP addresses, which belong to ISPs that do not provide a method of contacting them.

On September 13th, 2010, its creator Jeremy Bettis announced on his blog that the blacklist is no longer maintained and urges all ISPs to stop querying its DNS database.

If possible, RBLmon will continue to monitor the Deadbeef blacklist until December 31st, 2010, as there is still a tiny chance for some email messages to get rejected.
